My name's Jessica. I've been playing since my 14th birthday, so I guess in February it'll be six years already... my gosh, I'm getting old. :(
Now that I'm in my second year of college, it's extremely difficult to find the time to practice. I'm usually busy during the hours that I could be outside playing, but when I do have the time it's usually midnight. Since I can't play inside my dorm room (unless I want to be thrown out the window), I play maybe once a week if I'm lucky.
Does anybody else share a similar problem?
sorry..... i dont have the problems u have had, so i wouldnt be ale to tell u how to prevent them.... (im not in highschool yet) but yeah

Hey there! Yeah, I experience a lack of time to practice quite a bit. May I suggest electronic pipes? You can play them with headphones and therefore won't disturb people around you. You won't get any "real piping" done, but it's a good way to get some chanter work in when it's too late to be loud.
Sorry to angelmoose if she doesn't like this but, I'd like to take this oppertunity to invite you to join another bagpiping community, that I maintain called ladypipers. No pressure or anything, but it's a fun little place for lady pipers to share battle stories and piping issues with the each other (guys are welcome too, but so far none yet). Again, angelmoose, don't feel like I'm stealing your members please!
